Pricing | How Much do Immigration Consultants Charge in Canada?
Understand our Pricing Structure, and Learn the Government's Immigration Fees.
Crystal Clear Pricing
While other firms obscure the true cost of their services, CIP keeps things crystal clear. Consulting services cost as little as $199 CAD, and partnership prices are always negotiated in advance, making budgeting a painless process.
The Personal Touch
You’ll never get lost in the shuffle at CIP. We treat every customer with the same level of attentiveness and care. While larger firms may offer immigration services as a mere aside, we are fully dedicated to you and your journey.
Fully Regulated
You can rest assured knowing that your application is in the hands of experienced professionals. Canada Immigration Partners’ consultants are regulated by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and are members of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants.
Our Immigration Fees and Transparency
This page displays our Canada immigration fees. They will be broken down by each immigration visa route, and contain a price range. We’ll delve into the particulars in a minute, but in essence the minimum and maximum costs will be defined by the simplicity or complexity of your Canadian immigration application.
Many immigration consultants choose not to post their fees. There is no requirement to do so, but we believe that openness and transparency are important when choosing a partner for your immigration journey. In addition to our fees, the Canadian Government will also charge processing fees.
What Factors Affect the Costs of my Canadian Immigration Application?
We are often asked how much a regulated immigration consultant costs.
There are three factors which affect the costs.
- Our fixed costs based on our skills and experience.
- The complexity of your application.
- The costs of government processing fees.
Our Costs
Our prices are in line with consultants who have similarly extensive experience and training. We also factor in intangibles, such as our honesty, integrity and work ethic, traits which we believe will become apparent to you during the course of your consulation. Miho, myself and the team have about 40 years’ combined experience and near-perfect application success rates.
Application Complexity
The biggest factor affecting price is the complexity of your application.
During our consultation, we will be able to make clear the factors that affect your case personally, but as an introduction, these factors include (but are not limited to):
- • application type and visa office requirements;
- • accompanying spouses and other family members;
- • child custody issues;
- • a refusal history from Canada or any other country;
- • an admissibility issue, Criminal, Medical, or Security;
- • complex address and work histories.
On the basis of your case and circumstances, we quote a fixed price for our services with no hidden costs. To give you an idea of our basic fee structure for straightforward cases involving a single applicant, see our pricing table below.
Government Processing Fees
We have no control over these prices, which are subject to change, but we have included them as they form part of the overall costs of your immigration application. We have listed the current pricing below.
…A Quick Note On Additional Costs
- • language and credentials assessment
- • police certificates
- • immigration medical
- • translation of documents
… …A Quick Note On No Additional Costs!
If you are outside of Canada you will not pay Provincial and Federal Sales taxes on our services, a saving to you of 12%.
Disbursements are expenses associated with your files, such as photocopying, digital compliance and couriers etc.
We don’t believe in nickel-and-dime billing which is why our flat-fee price includes these expenses.

Food For Thought...
...Takeaways Learned from Restaurant Websites
Miho and myself believe when researching a company, potential customers should be easily able find products, services and prices. These are sometimes not listed or not easy to find.
By way of example, I’ve visited a number of restaurant websites over the years which have beautifully produced videos of chefs cooking, and waiting staff serving delighted customers. Finding the menu is not always intuitive, and once found prices are sometimes not listed. Videos promoting quality and ambience are great, but the information I want to easily find is what can I eat and what will it cost?
Moving your life to Canada, though, is somewhat more involved than a meal out at a restaurant!
Because of the complexities of immigration it is not always possible to list exact pricing. In this article we provide their ranges and explain the reasons that could impact them.
During our consultation you will receive a clear idea of the costs involved because its purpose is two-fold: for us to understand your unique circumstances and the work they require, and for you to understand the immigration process and to get to know us. We will then clarify by email a fixed price that will be clearly broken down for your peace of mind.
We sincerely hope you find this information useful. It would be a pleasure to assist you with your dream of moving to Canada.

Frequently Asked Questions | Canada Immigration Prices
In a word: yes, but it is by no means essential. Our consultation will provide you with the quality information you need to complete your own application. The people who are successful with completing their own immigration applications tend to have two traits in common:
- • They have strong attention to detail;
- • They have the time available to complete the work.
We do see people again after they submitted their unsuccessful application. Repeating the process will have cost them both time and money. And that’s really the crux of the decision: does the cost of hiring a Canadian Immigration Consultant who will submit a decision-ready application outweigh the drain on your time and potential additional costs with a failed application, or an application repeatedly sent back to you requiring more information?
Other reasons clients hire us are because they lose the motivation to see the process through or lack the computer skills to submit online applications.
Ultimately, immigration consultants provide value when it comes to navigating Canada’s complicated immigration process. With their knowledge and expertise, they can ensure that your application is completed accurately and promptly, saving you time and money in the long run. They also provide valuable information every step of the way about how to maximize your chances of success.
It is important to note that costs should not be the only factor in choosing an immigration representative.
Trusting someone else with your application for a new life in Canada is a big step. After all, a lot is at stake and you need to manage the risks of a delay or a refusal application.
It’s best to partner with someone that you are comfortable communicating with, someone with shared values, and the shared goal of securing your immigration status. To do that you want to partner with somebody that has experience in your type of case and with the skills, knowledge and expertise to deliver on their promises.
While price will be an important factor in deciding which representative to hire, it is worth remembering that the cheapest representatives are not always the cheapest option in the end. For example, a failed application by an underqualified representative has a cost that will likely outweigh any fee paid for a successful Canada immigration application.
In essence, all consultants are not created equal. With more than 11,300 registered Canada immigration consultants it is likely many are doing this job as a side hustle, and as such are not fully focused, unlike Canada Immigration Partners, on making sure you are successful.
Immigrating to Canada (or anywhere, for that matter) is a complex and time consuming process and one that you undoubtedly did not take lightly as moving overseas is a huge undertaking.
There are many forms to complete and pieces of evidence required. Simple and innocent mistakes on application forms can delay the immigration process; or worse still result in a declined application.
Hiring a Canada immigration consultant, then, provides you with peace of mind that you have a skilled, qualified and experienced partner in your corner, and can free up time for you and your family to enjoy your free time while we handle the nitty-gritty of your soon-to-be new life in Canada.
Many lawyers will charge by the hour whereas immigrants consultants predominantly charge a flat fee. The sliding scale previously mentioned will affect the fee, but with Canada Immigration Partners you will never be surprised by spiralling costs as our maximum fees will be transparent from the outset.
