British Columbia is Seeking Entrepreneurs to Invest in Businesses to Create Jobs, Strengthen the Economy and Develop New Services and Markets.

If you have business experience and are investment-ready, you may apply under one of the following sub-streams:

To Qualify under the Business Immigration Stream, you must:

  • show your minimum personal net worth
  • place an investment and actively manage a business
  • generate new jobs for Canadians

BC PNP Entrepreneur Metropolitan Vancouver Area

To qualify as an Entrepreneur, you must:

  • have significant relevant business experience as a business owner or manager
  • provide a compelling business case
  • personal net worth of at least CAD$600,000
  • be investment ready

If approved, you will be required to:

  • make an investment of at least $200,000
  • have a minimum ⅓ ownership in the business
  • sign a performance agreement with the Provincial Government
  • generate at least one job for Canadian residents

To qualify as a BC PNP Regional Entrepreneur, you must:

  • have significant relevant business experience as a business owner or manager
  • provide a compelling business case
  • personal net worth of at least CAD$300,000
  • be investment ready

If approved, you will be required to:

  • make an investment of at least $100,000
  • have a minimum ⅓ ownership in the business
  • sign a performance agreement with the Provincial Government
  • generate at least one new job for Canadian residents

The Strategic Project Stream allows an overseas parent company to start up a subsidiary in British Columbia from which to carry out operations. This stream allows a maximum of five essential employees to work and immigrate to Canada.

To qualify, you must:

  • make an equity investment of at least $500,000
  • generate at least three jobs for Canadian residents
  • sign a performance agreement with the Provincial Government
  • demonstrate the necessity of essential employees
