What Are the International Graduate and Post Graduate Streams?
The International Graduate and Post Graduate streams allow students from Canadian institutions to gain permanent residency in Canada. Under the BC Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
The International Graduate stream does not require work experience but does require a job offer.
The Post-Graduate stream does not require a job offer or experience, but does require science and technology qualifications.
You can apply under the International Graduate stream if you have been granted a Canadian degree or diploma in the last two years before the submission of your application.
To qualify, you must have a permanent full-time job offer that requires knowledge and analytic skills.
If you have graduated with a masters or a doctorate in natural applied sciences or technology your knowledge and skill set are in demand in BC.
The Post-Graduate stream does not require a job offer.
This is an advantage because you do not have to spend time and energy looking for an eligible employer.
You can apply under the Post-Graduate stream if you have been granted a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the last two years from an educational institution in B.C.
